Simple has a brand new panel of experts for 2013 called the “Skincare Advisory Board,” which includes a psychiatrist, fitness expert, makeup expert, dermatologist and nutritionist. All of these elements of our lifestyle are important in maintaining optimum skin health and a happy life: good diet, exercising, healthy mind, good skin and great makeup. Simple believes there is more to great skincare than just products, a philosophy with which I totally agree. Your skin is also impacted by your lifestyle, diet, fitness, health and well-being. This is why I would like to introduce to you the women behind Simple’s Skincare Advisory Board-a panel of leading industry experts who together offer you a complete approach to your skin, inside and out… or what I like to refer to as the total package.
Simple Dermatologist, Dr. Debra Luftman
Dr. Debra Luftman is a Board Certified Dermatologist who has always felt that there is an important link between skin health and emotional wellbeing. She abides by the mantra that when it comes to skin it is important to “keep it simple.”
Simple Fitness Expert, Kacy Duke
Trainer-to-the stars, Kacy Duke is among the world’s most sought-after personal trainers and fitness consultants. Known for her insightful fitness training techniques for body and soul, she has developed numerous innovative fitness programs. She is currently producing a series of holistic group fitness classes which combine physical, mental and emotional exercises to help create a vibrant, beautiful body, inside and out.
Simple Makeup Artist, Gita Bass
Gita Bass is no stranger to the stars. Gita’s work has been celebrated on the red carpet, and she is the talent behind numerous editorial photo shoots and advertising campaigns. Her extensive experience and fresh, natural talent is what makes her so successful. Gita’s top make up tip is, “Take really good care of your skin. If your skin is healthy looking, your makeup is halfway done.”
Simple Nutritionist, Ellie Krieger
Ellie Krieger is a New York Times bestselling author and host of the Cooking Channel’s hit show “Healthy Appetite.” A registered dietitian, Ellie has a master’s degree in nutrition from Columbia University. Krieger’s success can be attributed to her unique way of offering real life advice without any of the gimmicks and crash diets that permeate the media today. She reaches people with her message that it is possible for anyone, given the tools and knowledge, to live life to the maximum by keeping a healthy balance and nurturing a richly satisfying attainable lifestyle.
