I don’t really change my skincare routine much in the summer. All I tend to do is up the SPF. So, for example, I switch from using the Simple Replenishing Rich Moisturizer as my daily moisturizer to using the Simple Protecting Light Moisturizer with SPF 15. It’s so hot and sunny here in Scottsdale, AZ, so I need that extra protection. These moisturizers come in super handy when I’m traveling – mostly to California and the beach – which I tend to do a lot of during the summer. I like how it’s fragrance free, easy and pleasant to use.

One other thing that happens in summer is late nights. For some reason I tend to go to bed later than I would in the winter – all that fun and heat is keeping me up LOL – and in those instances I religiously use the Simple Soothing Eye Balm to keep my under-eye skin hydrated and to make my eyes look well rested. And of course, I carry the Simple Radiance Cleansing Wipes wherever I go – to the beach, by the pool, hotel rooms, in my bathroom, and sometimes even to work. You never know when you’ll need to fix your makeup or refresh your skin.

Other products I like to use are makeup related ha. After I apply the Simple Protecting Light Moisturizer with SPF 15 I apply NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 30. Forget any BB creams you’re using and TRY THIS ONE – it’s the BEST tinted moisturizer on the market. It covers imperfection, doesn’t feel greasy, it’s super hydrating and it has SPF 30. The NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer is another a must have this summer, easily beating out any other concealer I know!

And lastly to protect my lips from drying and to keep them nice, supple and full, no other lip gloss works better than Buxom Full-On Lip Polish. I still haven’t found a better lip gloss FYI. I’m on my 10th pack – I buy two shades” Debbie (a beautiful light coral/pink) and Tonya (a darker coral/pink). Try it… you’ll like it.

So this summer I keep it simple (pun intended) by upping my SPF with Simple Skincare and keeping my skin flawless and lips glossy with NARS and Boxom. And done. I’m ready!
