On Friday, April 23rd, 2010, TV personality Tabatha Coffey (Shear Genius, Tabatha’s Salon Takeover) and celebrity hairstylist John Frieda joined fans in celebrating the inspirational and world-famous Israeli hairdresser, Vidal Sassoon, at the private after-party for Tribeca Film Festival’s premiere of “Vidal Sassoon: The Movie” at The Standard Hotel in New York City.

Guests showed up in true Sassoon-style, donning the hair master’s signature bob haircut and others eagerly seeking personal styling tips from hair gurus Tabatha and John themselves. Tabatha, who began her career studying at the Vidal Sassoon Academy, was thrilled to celebrate the legend.

The film’s production team mingled with Vidal Sassoon’s family, friends and fans, sipping on their choice of Heineken, Avenue, Stoli and SmartWater, as they celebrated the man who revolutionized the art of hairdressing.
