Hairstyle Inspiration: “Mia chose a stunning rose-nude color gown that had a high lace neckline. I knew that putting her hair up in a loose, effortless chic way was the best to complement the feel of her dress. Mia is a young starlet who is making a strong impression on Hollywood, and by the response in Cannes, the world. Keeping her style very fresh, she radiates an ease on the carpet.”

How to get Mia Wasikowska’s hairdo:

“I prepped her hair with Phyto Volume Actif Spray. Once the hair was half dry I applied Phyto Mousse and scrunched Mia’s hair to bring out her natural bend. I brushed her hair out, and curled one inch sections with a 1/2″ curling iron, rotating the direction of the curls. I then sprayed each section with L’oreal Elnett Hairspray. I let the hair set for 5 minutes, then brushed out, creating soft wavy moments going back. I applied Pantene Beautiful Lengths Frizz Control to the hair. I gently twisted and pinned random pieces up with bobby pins, still showing the texture. Before she walked out the door, I took photo to make sure Mia had the right amount of height to width ratio. The camera always catches details our eyes don’t pick up!”
