There is a way to get involved and help educate young women about dating abuse and preventing partner violence before it even begins. Many of you know that mark has partnered with its spokesperson, Lauren Conrad to launch the girls m.powerment campaign, committed to preventing the cycle of dating abuse and partner violence.
As part of the initiative, Conrad has collaborated with mark to create the “Have a Heart” necklace from which 100 % of the net profits will be donated to help raise funds and awareness for the cause. Below are some additional startling statistics: 10% of high school students have experienced physical violence in dating relationships. Among college students, the figure rises to 22%. 13% of all college-aged women are stalked annually.
