Trina Turk Receives “Mercedes-Benz Presents” Designer Title
Designer Trina Turk, known for her sophisticated sportswear and signature prints, is this season’s “Mercedes-Benz Presents” designer with plans to debut a Spring 2011 swimwear collection at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim located at The Raleigh in Miami Beach on Thursday, July 15, 2010.
The “Mercedes-Benz Presents” program recognizes designers that demonstrate dedication to use of quality materials, unique style and innovative design. Trina Turk joins a prestigious list of “Mercedes-Benz Presents” designers including Monique Lhuillier, Badgley Mischka, Narciso Rodriguez, Red Carter and CHADO Ralph Rucci.
“It’s always special to be recognized for my work in a large industry with many talented designers,” said Trina Turk. “Being the Mercedes-Benz Presents designer is an honor as it acknowledges my commitment to unique design and craftsmanship from a brand that is a leader in innovative design.”
Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim
The summer season is upon us and the countdown has begun for Miami Beach’s Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim. This July, IMG Fashion is pleased to announce its line-up with a record number of designers to showcase their collections for 2011. The Raleigh will once again become the epicenter of the fashion industry from July 15-19, 2010 as supermodels, celebrities, press and buyers come together to celebrate fashion and beauty with the sexiest swimwear designs in the world.
Kardashians for Beach Bunny Swimwear
Known for flaunting their famous curves and wearing the hottest swimsuit trends, it was only a matter of time before Kim Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian and Khloé Kardashian Odom added swimsuit designer to their expanding list of successful endeavors. The Kardashian trio has teamed up with L.A. label Beach Bunny Swimwear to design sexy suits that flatter their individual body types and personalities. The 1st release of the label, “Kardashians for Beach Bunny Swimwear” launched on Beach Bunny Swimwear’s website and branded stores May 10th, 2010, and affiliated retail stores shortly thereafter.

Norma Kamali Embraces The ipad
Fashion advertising: Designer Norma Kamali and Interview Magazine bring you the debut of interactive fashion ads on the Apple ipad. Kamali will be participating in the first digital version of Interview Magazine that will be available on the ipad April 5th, 2010.
In addition to her signature swimwear campaign, the designer has created portfolios for you to scroll through your favorite looks that can be emailed or shared with friends. Kamali has also created a mini mood video (above) that expresses the spirit of the collection.
