The new MAC N Collection will be available at all MAC locations tomorrow, January 10th, 2008. MAC’s N Collection is all about nude, stripped-down, and natural shades in mineralized skinfinshes that play up the nakedness of cheeks, lips, and eyes. MAC N Collection is also described as naked with coverage, sort of like the no-makeup makeup look.
The new MAC N Collection Colour includes lipstick, lipglass, small eyeshadow, paint pot, cremestick liner, technakohl, plushlash, and nail lacquer, $14-$16.50. MAC Cosmetics announced today “Are You a MAC Original?” contest to launch their new limited edition collection of The Originals. The new MAC Originals collection pays tribute to popular shades both discontinued or existing that consumers covet and can’t live without.
The contest is a celebration of one’s individuality and originality-qualities intrinsic to the MAC brand. Launching nationally through the MAC website the contest will also run regionally in 6 key cities across the United States: New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Las Vegas, San Francisco, and Houston.

MAC Originals is inspired by original people like: Carol Channing, Bjork, Blondie, Bowie, and every glam rocker and tightrope walker in-between.
This season MAC pays tribute to all the high flyers, in the shades, shadows and styles that have stayed with us all these years, and some of the late-greats MAC discontinued all too soon. The MAC AIDS Fund Raised $100 Million
The MAC AIDS Fund was established in 1994 by MAC Cosmetics to support men, women and children affected by HIV/AIDS globally. To date, MAF has raised $100 Million (U.S.) exclusively through the sale of VIVA GLAM Lipstick and Lipglass, donating 100 per cent of the sale price to fight HIV/AIDS.
The inaugural spokesperson for MAC VIVA Glam was performer RuPaul. Since then others joined the ranks including, K.d. Lang, Mary J. Blige, Sir Elton John, Shirley Manson, Lil’Kim, Missy Elliot, Boy George, Linda Evangelista, Chloe Sevigny, Christina Aguilera, Pamela Anderson, Debbie Harry and Lisa Marie Presley. Currently the face of MAC AIDS Fund is R&B artist, Eve and burlesque star, Dita Von Tease.
