Ban Deodorant Has A New Scent

The Ban brand is introducing The Island Falls Scent. Ban Invisible Solids have you covered when it comes to stress odor. Now the #1 invisible solid in stress odor protection comes in a new fresh, clean scent just in time for spring. The sheer floral scent of the new Ban Island Falls evokes a fresh island breeze, with top notes of shimmering water greens and citrus, creamy woodsy bottom notes, and a hint of powder freshness.

Ban Island Falls

The backstory: The experts of the Ban brand were the first to discover and address the two distinct types of stress related odors-spicy odor and s-odor. Traditional antiperspirant/deodorant merely mask odors and reduce odor-causing sweat in general. Ban Invisible Solids, with kihada extract and silver cancrinite, use patented, breakthrough technology to specifically target and virtually eliminate (not cover up) spicy and s-odor that other antiperspirant/deodorant may leave behind.

Price: $2.99. Where to buy: Grocery and Drugstores nationwide.

Introducing Biore Mandarin Blossom Nose Strips

The new Biore Mandarin Blossom Nose Strips provides a refreshing citrus-scent for a more enjoyable pore strip experience. For a spa experience at home, use Biore Mandarin Blossom Nose Strips to invigorate the senses as you purify the skin. The fresh mandarin blossom fragrance creates a soothing atmosphere for your favorite cleansing ritual.

How Biore Mandarin Blossom Nose Strips work? Like the original strips, Biore Mandarin Blossom Nose Strips bond to the dirt and oil that have settled in each pore and lifts out pore-clogging agents, removing weeks of build-up in just 10 minutes. With continued use of Biore Mandarin Blossom Nose Strips, the appearance of pores dimishes and your overall complexion is cleaner, fresher, and healthier looking.

From the expert: “Just washing your face is not enough, ” says Dermatologist Diane Berson. “It is the dirt and oil below the surface that can really cause complexion problems. I recommend taking a hot shower to open up pores, washing face with Biore Blemish Fighting Ice Cleanser which will provide a better surface to adhere strip. Then use a Biore Mandarin Blossom Nose Strips once a week to keep pores clean and clog-free deep below the surface.”

Price: $5.99 for 8 strips. Where to find them: Select food, drug and massmerchant stores. For more information, visit: www.biore.com

New-Kiehl’s Superbly Restorative Body Care Preparations

Kiehl’s Since 1851 is introducing ‘Superbly Restorative’ body care preparations made with fairly-traded, organic Moroccan Argan Oil and Argan Leaf Extract. Superbly Restorative Body Lotion, Superbly Restorative Dry Oil, and Superbly Restorative will hit Kiehl’s stores and www.kiehls.com in April. All three preparations are refreshingly and naturally fragranced with essential oils of orange and eucalyptus.

This launch marks Kiehl’s first fair trade and their first organic ingredient, 100% certified Argan Oil. In addition, the plastic used for the packaging bottles of the dry oil and lotion is made from Post Consumer Recycled Packaging, which is another Kiehls first, and speaks for their commitment to giving back, as well as their commitment to the environment. Kiehl’s will launch their Superbly Restorative skin Salve later this June.

Argan oil is a rising trend in the beauty industry as smaller all-natural companies incorporated the rich oil into their formulations, Kiehl’s is the first large beauty company taking advantage of this oil’s naturally rich properties.

So why is this Argan Oil such great ingredient? Argan Oil is found only in the Argan Forest of Southern Morocco, Argan Oil is pressed from the nut of the Argan Tree’s Fruit. Used by generations of native Berber women in Morocco’s Atlas Mountain Region in beauty and culinary preparations, the natural fatty acids in the oil provides essential nourishment, powerful antioxidant protection, and help restore the vitality of the skin and hair.

Kiehl’s new body care collection includes:
Superbly Restorative Body Lotion: A hydrating, antioxidant moisturizer that improves  the skin’s tone and resilience, $35. (On-Counter in April).
Superbly Restorative Dry Oil: A multi-purpose formula to be used on both skin and hair, which improves the appearance of skin tone, and helps to smooth split ends and add healthy sheen to hair, $30. (On-Counter in April).
Superbly Restorative Skin Salve: Is a multi-purpose concentrated formula for intensive skin and hair relief and maintenance, and can be used for soothing everything from chapped noses, rough elbows and knees, sore muscles, and hair flay-aways. (On-Counter in June).
