Vera Farmiga at the Up in the Air LA Premier: Get The Look

Vera Farmiga was sporting red lips at the Up in the Air LA Premier on Monday, November 30th, 2009, Westwood, Los Angeles, CA. Vera was wearing a dress by Dolce & Gabbana and her makeup look was created by Tina Turnbow, a Natural Makeup Artist.

“Vera’s look was simple glamour: Her dress was ephemeral – a white, almost grecian Dolce & Gabbana, and I wanted her makeup look to shine forth her beautiful features, while keeping that simple, effortless air.”-Tina Turnbow

Face Products: “Vera has a beautiful, fair complexion, so I kept it simple – with a lightweight foundation and finished with a light, rosy blush.

Foundation: Almay Pure Blends Mineral Makeup in Fair – “l love that this foundation is 97.4% natural”

Blush: Revolution Organics Freedom Glow Beauty Balm in Blushed – “It’s a beautiful cream stick that creates very natural-looking rosy cheeks.” Mineral Fusion Blush in

The Estée Lauder Companies’ 2009 Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign And Fundraising

It’s Breast Cancer Awareness month aka BCA and the Estée Lauder Companies has many of your favorite beauty products designed especially to raise funds for the Estée Lauder Companies’ Breast Cancer Research Fund. Last month during my visit to New York City during Fashion Week Spring 2010 I was given an incredible opportunity to participate in an Estée Lauder special Breast Cancer Awareness event. Listening to Evelyn Lauder’s speech and the rest of the Estée Lauder team I can’t tell you enough how passionate they are about the Breast Cancer cause!!

Here are highlights of some of the people involved in the Estée Lauder Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign and And Fundraising, and the beauty products you can purchase where portions of their proceeds go towards the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

Beauty Tips for Stretching Summer

Summer is a beautiful time of the year: it’s nice and hot outside, we swim in the ocean or the pool, we get great skin and beachy waves thanks to sea water, get sun-kissed, and eat delicious and succulent fruits. Sometimes summer is SO good we don’t want it to go away.

Here are some beauty tip to stretch your summer just a little longer into fall…

Take a nice bath with Philosophy Raspberry Sorbet shower gel & Bubble bath to remind you of succulent summer fruits and ice cream. $16 at www.sephora.com

A nice sea salt body scrub such as Origins Incredible Spreadable Scrub Sea Salt Body Smoother will help satisfy your craving for sea water and ocean, $26. Available at www.beauty.com

You’ve spent hours on the beach or by the pool. You squeezed fresh lemon on your hair in your garden. Or you’ve spent some decent cash on your blond highlights. Whichever way you’ve achieved beautiful blonde highlights, you can stretch their life with Redken Blonde Glam Shampoo & Conditioner, and Blonde Glam Color Enhancer Rich Vanilla or Perfect Platinum. Available at redken.com for salons

Origins Gloomaway Grapefruit Bath & Body Collection

Love the new Origins Gloomaway Grapefruit Bath & Body Collection! I love Origins, period. Origins was one of my first beauty obsessions back in the days living in New York City. I used to walk from the West Village to SOHO every weekend, just about, where Origins used to be located. I think the store is still there, well, maybe it is time for a trip to New York City…for me!

Back to Origins Gloomaway Grapefruit Bath & Body Collection. I almost finished the Origin Gloomaway Grapefruit body-buffing cleanser and Gloomaway Grapefruit body wash/bubble bath, tells you how much I like it.

The scent is beautiful, not too strong, and lingers in the background softly through out the day. Very typical to Origins fantastic perfumes and scented bath & body products (you should try their Ginger collection, and their Salt Suds Foaming Body Wash).
