Herve Leger Fall Winter 2010 Fashion Show

New York Fashion Week. Herve Leger by Max Azria Fall Winter 2010 Collection. Hair by Bob Recine for Moroccanoil.

For Fall/Winter 2010, Hervé Léger by Max Azria fuses its iconic signature and couture techniques with the speed of street athleticism. An achromatic palette is energized by flashes of neon brights, blurring the lines between sophistication and urban edge. Cross-laced panels, textured prints and enameled surfaces highlight the aerodynamic shape of the female form. Her second-skin armor gives her the confidence to stand tall in the face of the future. BTW The Herve Leger dresses are SO Marta:)

The Hairstyle: Beautiful, healthy looking hair with young, luminous shine. Loosely gathered back and tied at the nape with invisible hair bands to create free-flowing “undone ponytails” with an uninterrupted cascade of long hair falling in one flowing line. Bob Recine used Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray to create all the looks.

How to create the look: Hair Tutorial

1. Bob Recine used argan-oil infused Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray in a unique way—to first create texture and set the hair, then to finish with weightless, free-flowing hold. To start, he separated the hair into three sections, sprayed Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray each section from root to ends, then used a blow dryer to scrunch in texture and design.

2. He then brushed the scrunched hair out, created a natural center part, and very loosely pulled the hair back to the nape of the neck. Next, he gently wrapped an invisible hair band around strands to create an “undone ponytail” with an impression of natural, flowing hair.

3. He again used Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray to finish and hold the look in place. “This innovative hairspray doesn’t leave a residue or build-up, and looks weightless, and almost invisible. Hair stays touchable and moves naturally without looking stiff. It also gave the hair just the right burst of natural-looking shine to complete the design.”

Moroccanoil luxury professional argan oil‐infused products are sold exclusively in fine salons and spas worldwide.
