New at the perfume house of Guerlain is Insolence.  Insolence was created by Maurice Roucel, creator of L’Instant by Guerlain.  The very luxurious Insolence gives a new meaning to violet.  Other notes include:  jubilant red berries like raspberry, a hint of orange blossom, rose, sandalwood, white musk, iris and tonka bean. Cost:  $45 for 1 oz Eau de Toilette Spray,  $61 for 1.7 oz, $89 for 3.4 oz.

The famous power couple David and Victoria Beckham are rumoured to launch their first his and hers fragrance called:  Instinct.  The much anticipated Beckham parfume will Begin selling in the UK on September 1, 2006.  For those of you who are not familiar with soccer, Beckham is the world’s most recognized soccer player.  And Victoria Beckham, aka Posh Spice, was once a singer with the multimillion-selling Spice Girls in the 90’s.  Rumoured notes for Beckham ‘His’ perfume are:  Italian bergamot, orange and mandarin, star anise, cardamom, red pimento, Haitian vetiver, patchouli and white amber.  Beckham for ‘Her’ notes will include:  bouquet of white flowers, bergamot and rose petals.  No words on kind of packaging yet.  We will keep you posted!

Relaxing Fragrance by Shiseido is a fresh and delicious perfume.  It is literally a relaxing and a calm fragrance prefect for day time.  The fragrance also works as an evening scent if you love sheer and a bit understated smells.  Shiseido Relaxing Fragrance combines Eastern spiritual thinking with advanced aromacology science.  Thanks to its main ingredient Tea Rose Element you will feel calm and balanced with just few drops.  Other notes include:  Artemisia, Young Bamboo, Cucumber, Peony, Gardenia, Cardamon, and Sandalwood.  Shisedo Skincare uses herbs, fresh flowers, and spices for aroma and is now conducting a research to find a link between scent and skin.  Cost:  $40.

Soir De Lune is the first from Sisley Paris in 15 years.  In translation, Soir Se Lune means “The Evening Of The Moon”.  It is a modern floral, woodsy scent with floral notes of rose, mimosa absolute, jasmine, lily of the valley, and iris.  Fruity notes of mandarin, lemon, and peach.  Woodsy, sensual notes of bergamot, coriander, nutmeg, sandalwood, tree moss, and patchouli.  Packaged in an exquisite bottle designed by Polish artist Bronislaw Krzysztof with a silver metal moon cap.

Sarah Jessica Parker the elegant star from the highly acclaimed show Sex And The City has launched her first perfume Lovely in 2005.  Lovely was made possible thanks to Sarah Jessica Parker’s collaboration with the international firm Coty, which are also launching range with David and Victoria Beckham.  You surely want to try Lovely and get a piece of an international fashion symbol.   Sarah Jessica Parker became a super star playing the very stylish character Carrie Bradshaw in Sex And The City.  Lovely is an elegant perfume with main notes of lavender, orchid and amber, apple martini, paper whites and musk. Cost:  $49.50 for 1.7 oz, $65 for 3.4 oz.
