When I was in New York City this week I stopped by Henri Bendel 2nd floor at the very exclusive counter local for ILLUMINUM perfume. This is another cool English import and rumor is Kate Middleton now the English Royalty wore ILLUMINUM White Gardenia Petals Perfume on her wedding day! The name White Gardenia Petals makes it sound that this perfume is uber floral (which if you know me by now is not at all what I like) but to my surprise the scent rounded and warm. Early this week I left Scottsdale & Paradise Valley Arizona for 2 days in my original hometown New York City. The trip was related to my blog TM aka TalkingMakeup.com. My background is quite a long story. I was born in Former Soviet Georgia then at age 4 months my parents immigrated to Israel where I grew up till I was 18 hence my Israeli accent.

It’s funny because sometimes when I tell people I was born in Georgia they say now I hear your Russian accent LOL. It’s not a Russian accent it’s Israeli. The point I’m trying to make is that since 18 I spent most of my life living and working in New York City.

The best blow-out I had in a long time is thanks to CUTLER Salon 57th Street New York City and its super talented hair stylist Emily aka Emma Heser. Emily has styled many celebrity hair such as: Demi Moore, Susan Sarandon, and Rachel Ray. Emily also goes backstage to style top fashion designers runway models during New York Fashion Week. Needless to say I was honored to be styled by her.
