Givenchy Play New Fragrance & Justin Timberlake
According to Now Smell This Givenchy will launch Givenchy Play, a new fragrance for men fronted by pop star Justin Timberlake, this coming September.
Givenchy Play will be available in a “regular” and an intense Eau de Toilette, both centered on amyris wood. The Eau de Toilette will include notes of bitter orange, grapefruit, black pepper and patchouli; the Intense version features bergamot, tangerine, pink pepper, vetiver, tonka bean and patchouli.

Givenchy was created by fashion designer Hubert James Taffin de Givenchy who was born in 1927 in Beauvais, France. At age 17 Hubert James Taffin de Givenchy left to Paris where his career as a fashion designer began. Especially in 1952 Givenchy got popular for a line of light skirts and puff-sleeved blouses made from raw cotton, a fabric previously reserved for fittings only. In addition, Givenchy was the first major fashion designer to present a luxury ready-to-wear line. Also in the 1950’s, Givenchy got into Hollywood costume design. 1957 was the year Givenchy launched their fist perfume, L’Interdit. Today’s face of Givenchy is actress Liv Tyler.
