Christina Aguilera Inspire New perfume
Christina Aguilera’s second fragrance Inspire which was created under arrangements with Procter & Gamble, was launched few days ago. Christina Aguilera was seen promoting her new perfume Inspire on September 2nd, 2008 in Macy’s New York City.
Christina Aguilera Inspire will be a tuberose-focused white floral; according to a P&G spokesperson, Aguilera “loves tuberose fragrances but they tend to be a bit heavy so we kept working on it to make it more young”. Additional notes include mango, citrus, freesia, rose, gardenia, orange blossom, sandalwood and musks. Available at Macy’s and http://www.macys.com .
Lancôme Magnifique Launch Party with Spokesmodel Anne Hathaway
Lancôme has unveiled its new major feminine fragrance in grand style at the Grand Palais in Paris on June 10th 2008. A gotha of beauty professionals gathered to discover the new creation called Magnifique while the notes of “C’est Magnifique” by Cole Porter played in the air. Actress Anne Hathaway is the spokesperson for the fragrance.
The name of the fragrance is a reference to a feminist ad campaign that was launched last year by the brand to promote images of successful women and which is fronted by Juliette Binoche and Elsa Morante. A community platform website has been set up also at www.magnifique-women.com to encourage participation from consumers.

Calvin Klein Secret Obsession Perfume & Eva Mendes
Calvin Klein will launch Secret Obsession, a new fragrance for women fronted by Eva Mendes, this coming September.
Calvin Klein Secret Obsession Perfume isn’t launching till fall, but Secret Obsession is available now at Macy’s.com. This is the only place you can get the fragrance before it’s on-counter.
The Secret Obsession fragrance is a floriental with no relationship to the original Calvin Klein Obsession scent other than the name and the steamy advertising (the television spot has apparently been nixed by network censors).

Eva Mendes is a reflection of how things have changed over the past 20 years.”
Secret Obsession’s notes include exotic plum, mace, rose de damas, jasmine, orange flower, tuberose, cashmere woods, burnt amber, vanilla and sandalwood.
