Fashionistas gathered at New York City’s Soho Grand, February 9th, 2011, to view a selective runway presentation showcasing the What Goes Around Comes Around collection for Fall 2011. The collection, with its obvious bohemian influence, channeled a “gypsy jetter.” Using his Auto Pilot Pre Foundation Primer ($39 at NapoleonPerdis.com) to perfect model’s faces, Napoleon Perdis added a smoky eye to create makeup looks inspired by the sixties with a timeless twist. Revlon’s Global Artistic Director, Gucci Westman, paired a contoured eye with a strong lip for the Luca Luca Fall 2011 collection, bringing forth the designer’s vision of a forest fairytale filled with lush orange and okra hues.
“The look is about a fresh, modern girl on an adventure,” says Westman. “She’s refined, yet modern. I created an eye that is contoured but not overly done so the attention is focused on the bright, striking lip.”

NARS Opens First Flagship Boutique In NYC
NEW YORK, NY FEBRUARY 9, 2011 – NARS Cosmetics, Inc. announced today the unveiling of its first flagship boutique in New York City’s famed West Village. Located at 413 Bleecker Street, the 525 square-foot space boasts a design conceived by Founder and Creative Director François Nars and long-time artistic collaborator and friend Fabien Baron, of Baron & Baron.
François Nars and CEO, Louis Desazars, along with an intimate gathering of close friends of the brand, convened for the celebratory ribbon cutting to signify the official opening of the boutique. The flagship location, created as a unique destination where artistry can be cultivated and consumers educated, will be officially open to the public on February 10, 2011.

Too Faced Makeup
Too Faced is up to something with their eye shadows. They are my new favorite. This collection was part of their 2010 holiday gift collection sold in Sephora aka Too Faced Enchanted Glamourland. The shades are hip and practical. The eye shadows are light in texture, shimmery and long lasting.
