Estée Lauder Names Joan Smalls New Global Spokesmodel
New York, NY, December 10, 2010 – The Estée Lauder brand today announced that it has signed one of fashion’s rising runway and editorial stars as a new face of Estée Lauder for cosmetics and skincare. Model Joan Smalls, who hails from Puerto Rico, will join Estée Lauder’s roster of global beauties – Hilary Rhoda, Carolyn Murphy, Elizabeth Hurley, Constance Jablonski and Liu Wen – and debut in its global advertising campaigns beginning May 2011.

Beijing, China, November 22, 2010 – Liu Wen made her official debut as an Estée Lauder global spokesmodel in Beijing to launch the new Pure Color makeup collection. Joined by Estée Lauder executives Jane Hertzmark Hudis, Global Brand President, Aerin Lauder, Senior Vice President, Creative Director and Tom Pecheux, Creative Makeup Director, Liu Wen was honored as the brand’s latest spokesmodel at a major launch event at the prestigious Ch’ianmen 23 in Central Beijing. She was also feted at a private dinner hosted by Vogue China, before holding interviews with international and Chinese media.

Bright orange-shaded eyes, nude lips, peachy-bronzed cheeks and neutral nails ruled the catwalk at Lincoln Center on Sunday, September 12th, 2010.

On Thursday evening, July 22nd, 2010, Estée Lauder kicked off its largest sampling program to date – America’s Night to Repair. Continuing the success of last year’s first annual America’s Night to Repair, for 4 synchronized hours – from 5:00pm – 9:00pm (all local times) – Estée Lauder Beauty Advisors were distributing a total of 360,000 deluxe samples. Customers could choose either a 10-day supply of NEW Advanced Night Repair Eye Synchronized Complex or Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Recovery Complex at ALL Estée Lauder department and specialty store counters nationwide while supplies lasted.
