The supermodels celebrated Alves’s birthday at Carlos Miele by eating miniature cupcakes with Brazilian flags and drinking Leblon caipirinhas.

Revlon’s Global Artistic Director, Gucci Westman uses her favorite products from Revlon backstage at rag & bone to create a makeup look that she calls ‘real beauty.’ The Spring ‘11 Rag & Bone collection is full of textured and natural clothing, taking inspiration from Laurence of Arabia.

“The look is meant to capture a journey,” says Westman. “The girls look slightly windswept, a little raw, and disheveled with dewy skin. This translates to a healthy, subtle color in cheeks and a grayish, slightly brown sheen eye.”

Tommy Hilfiger Announces Fall 2010 Global Advertising Campaign
Tommy Hilfiger Announces “The Ultimate Tailgate,” Its Fall 2010 Global Advertising Campaign. The “Hilfiger’s” visited the US Open last night to catch the Rafael Nadal vs. Fernando Verdasco match.
The campaign unfolded during a classic American sporting event where the Hilfigers gathered prior to a game. In true American tradition, their trunks we’re opened, blankets unfurl, picnics appear and the ultimate tailgate party commences. The energy of the campaign is lively and fun, and sets the scene for the Fall ’10 collection to take to the stage.

New York Fashion SS 2011. Nail Trends. Jason Wu’s show marked the debut of the exclusive Jason Wu Colour & Effect Collection in collaboration with CND. To complement his vivid color palette and 40’s/70’s silhouettes, Jason Wu chose classic oxblood red Veronica Colour from his new collection for manicures.
Pedicures were done in peachy nude Perfectly Bare Colour from CND’s limited edition Spring Colour & Effect duo (available in March 2011). The show introduced Jason Wu’s first foray into nails and CND’s first product designer partnership. All show guests received the Jason Wu Collection, which will be available worldwide in May 2011.

INSPIRATION: “Elegant femininity inspired by Catherine Deneuve and Grace Kelly with an edge of rebellion like Cyndi Lauper,” said Honor designer Giovanna Randall about the look and inspiration. With the venue set up like a Parisian apartment, the idea was to communicate a merge of innocent femininity and bold sexuality.

Eye
Pearl cream colour base – blended over the eyelids. centre stage mega metal shadow (available 2011) and MAC pro rose gold metal pigment – blended through the crease of the eye and winged out toward the temples. Golden lemon pigment – placed in the center of the lid, and smudged onto the inner and outer corners of the eyes. I get no kick eye kohl (available 2011) – drawn onto the lower water lines of the eye lids. # 33 lashes – Applied to top lashes only and blended with plushblack plush lash mascara.

Eye
Contrast, prussian and shadowy lady eye shadows – blended together and pulled out from the center of the eye along the crease and lower lash lines for a blue gray smoky eye. Dalliance mega metal shadow (Available 2011) – to highlight the inner corners of the eyelids. Dangerous cuvee paint pot (Available 2011) – blended together on the center of the eyelids. Haute and naughty lash in black – two coats applied to both the upper and lower lashes.
