The Hairstyle & Inspiration: “The undone, wavy look is sexy and unrestrained, inspired by a girl’s hair after she’s been in the water. It’s very soft and flowing with lots of texture to give it a natural messiness. It’s loose, second-day hair—like it was curled the day before and then left alone. Our collection this season is based around water. I love that the hair look evokes the salty, windblown feel of hair that’s dried after being in the ocean. Guido Creates the Hair at Vogue’s Fashion Night Out Show
On Tuesday, September 7, 2010, at Lincoln Center was the biggest display of Fashion in New York City history, and Redken’s Creative Consultant Guido, was the mastermind behind the 171 looks that strutted through Lincoln Centers Damrosch Plaza, showcasing the hottest styles from Fall/Winter 2010, kicking off the excitement for Fashion Week and Vogue’s Fashion Night Out Friday, September 10.
Guido, along with a team of more than 100 stylists were hard at work all day, creating seven different progressive looks – from the “Fifties Flair” structured, lacquered updo to the “Jazz Age Cool” of classy pastel painted finger waves to the Romantic “Pure Of Heart Side Braid” made famous originally by the world’s most conceptual runway hairstylist.

Sienna Miller Carries Exclusive Jacques Fath Clutch
Actress Sienna Miller was photographed in London last week attending the British Fashion Council Awards Nominations with an exclusive clutch from the newly re-launched accessories division of French couture house Jacques Fath. The event was covered by major press including Vogue.com and InStyle.com and has since landed Sienna on the list of best dressed for the evening (Life and Style September 20th issue).
Sienna’s clutch, the gold lizard-skin “Fidelity” box clutch, is one of the staple bodies of the collection and the design will carry on as one of the company’s trademark styles. Sienna Miller is one of the first to be photographed with the brand since the company’s much anticipated re-launch the beginning of this month.

Style News: The Martini Dolce&Gabbana worldwide première took place in Milan today, Tuesday, September 7th, 2010. The new advertising campaign for Martini Gold by Dolce&Gabbana, directed by Jonas Åkerlund, the preferred director of popstars like Madonna and Lady Gaga, stars Monica Bellucci and features an unusual cameo performance from Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana.

The commercial was entirely shot on the streets and squares of Rome, in a tribute to Italy and the films of Italian cinema. This inspiration has been reinterpreted in a modern way under the visionary eye of the Swedish director Åkerlund.
