Rachael Ray at the 2010 Daytime Emmy Awards
Rachael Ray was the golden girl at the 37th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards in Las Vegas last night. The nominee and presenter wore Coomi 20K gold and diamond ‘Eternity” earrings & cuff and an 18K gold Cleopatra snake ring with diamonds by Pamela Froman. Kudos to stylist Jane Harrison Fox for her golden glam ensemble!
Taraji P. Henson’s Makeup at 2010 BET Awards
The glamour quotient at last night’s BET Awards was sky-high, with presenter Taraji P. Henson leading the pack. Celebrity makeup artist Mylah Morales made up last year’s BET award winner—and Oscar nominee—using Lancôme mascara and lip colors. Mylah also primped Taraji for the awards after-party, co-hosted with P. Diddy, which called for a makeup change.
The look for the awards, Mylah told us, centered around gorgeous skin, pale lips, a neutral eye palette and loads of mascara. Lancôme’s Color Fever Gloss in Delirium delivered pretty pink shimmer that played off Taraji’s sleek silver dress.

MW: When did your fascination with makeup and beauty begin?
JH: I have always been into makeup. My mom always tells me the story of when she entered her bedroom and spotted me putting on makeup. I turned and looked up at her and had purple eye shadow all over my face! I also had been experimenting with makeup since I was 3 because we got all done up for my annual ballet recitals!

One of my favorites is the Queen Collection Natural Hue Compact Foundation because it’s cream- to- powder, so it dries down to a powdery finish and looks really natural.

Summer Hair Solutions: Hair Rules aloe grapefruit purifying shampoo ($20) is my latest discovery to remove product build up and to fall in love over again with your favorite daily shampoo & conditioner. More good stuff: smells like fresh grapefruit. Although it does an amazing job as a clarifying shampoo it does it in a very gentle way. Some clarifying shampoos makes my hair feel so dry like there is not point of return, (split second panic…does this sound familiar?). Your hair is now super clean but still soft.
