This is why I was super excited to try their latest product addition: Avon Advance Techniques frizz control lotus shield. I’m absolutely blown away with how great this product works on my hair to control frizz for days, and I mean days.
My hair is wavy but I like to keep it straight most times and I’m always on the lookout for hair styling products that keep my hair straight and frizz free especially the second and third day. Harvey Nichols windows in London are famous for their exciting and innovative window schemes. The latest display is by no means an exception. Inspiration for the new windows is taken from the A/W trend ‘understated classics’, illustrated on the catwalk shows by designers such as Stella McCartney and Céline.
Hammer made of nails
The scheme is a celebration of mundane items that are so every day you almost ignore them without noticing their true beauty and design worth. Everyday items are used as the main prop and are made of smaller related items, e.g. a giant hammer covered in nails, a tree made from pencils and a piano made from cassettes. The display is completed using tool boxes, cassette tape and giant nails. The colours used follow suit in mainly neutral tones, the only colours used being hints of yellow and orange.

Can you tell us how the Womanity story began…
A creation or a new fragrance always comes as a reaction and an improvement on my previous work. This is how I always work. When I develop a project, I’m already starting on the next one in a way… This one came after I had created Angel, which is quite a heady fragrance, with a certain innocence as well as an obvious sensuality. With Womanity, the aim was to complete this idea and reach out to even more women: to open to a broader range of femininity and therefore make something even more complete.

Introducing Marta Walsh’s new signature fragrance Womanity by Thierry Mugler. It was a love from first ‘schpritz’ or spray! The bottle is so unique and the pink fragrance is so feminine and girly. The smell is truly something I’ve never smelled before which what captured my attention. The scent is not ever too strong but it’s there. It feels as if the scent becomes part of me (you). I haven’t stop wearing it since I got it! For all the Angel lovers this is a must try. Theirry Mugler did it again with Womanity. If you were waiting for the next big thing after Angel, you’re are looking at it. This one certainly stands out from all the Mugler perfumes and is my favorite. I use to be a huge Angel fan few years ago and was looking for something new. I think I found one. Thierry Mugler is back!

Travel: Well I just got back from London and had an amazing time with my family: hubby and 2 boys Jake (4) and (2) Kieran. My boys are world travelers already, they both been to New York City and LA numerous times. Like parents like boys LOL. I would love to live in London one day for 6 months or so and really get the feel of the city. I believe you never really get a sense of a place unless you actually live there for a bit. The weather was exceptionally warm and and at times England felt like Italy or maybe the French Riviera. One thing I must do is improve the way I pronounce London: it’s Lan-Den not Lonn-Donn in a very thick Israeli accent:) I selected some highlight photos from my trip to England. Backstage Makeup At Dolores Cortes Swim Show 2010
MAKE UP FOR EVER ALLIANCE artist, Lottie, served as the key make up artist for the Dolores Cortés swim show on Friday, July 16th, 2010. Lottie created a beautiful safari-chic make up look inspired by bohemian references of the 50’s Parisian woman, combined with acid and exotic colors from Bells Beach in Australia. The end result was a palette of shimmering greens and golds.
