Silvana Danies Jewelry

I stumbled upon the Silvana Danies Jewelry collection and 2 things caught my attention. The evil eye (seen in bracelet below) theme and Hamsa (which means 5 in Arabic seen in necklace blow) both are symbols known in some Mediterraneans countries for ‘protection against bad energy’ from other people. Being born to a Georgian family, growing up in Israel, and traveling to Turkey these 2 symbols are very familiar to me.

Tina Fey Oscars 2010

Oscars 2010 Jewelry: I absolutely loved Tina Fey’s red carpet look at the Oscars. Surely best dressed. Hairstyle: gorgeous. Dress by Michael Kors, impeccable. And her Lust ring by Chrissy L ($115), exquisite. Tina is looking more beautiful each time she steps on the red carpet.

Kate Winslet Oscars 2010 Makeup

Lancôme abassador Kate Winslet looked resplendent at the Academy Awards yesterday, clad in an Yves Saint Laurent gown and bold jewelry from Tiffany & Co. Kate’s long-time makeup artist, Jillian Dempsey, topped off the look with soft, ethereal makeup. Both the eyes and the lips got equal attention on this Oscar winner. Shimmering, champagne-pewter shades highlighted the eyes, while very saturated mascara delivered that extra definition. A pop of pink blush on her cheeks gave Kate just a hint of a natural flush. Jillian topped off the look with nude-pink lips.

SI Swimsuit Cover Girl Brooklyn Decker Makes Waves with Sydney Evan

Sydney Evan Jewelry is featured on the cover of Sports Illustrated Swim 2010 on Brooklyn Decker. The Supermodel loved the collection so much while shooting on location in Maldives, she requested the Sydney Evan double sided evil eye bracelet for her personal jewelry collection.

Blazing hot Brooklyn Decker is showing off more than a perfect body on the cover of 2010 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. Bronzed and beautiful, Decker covers up her goods with a wrist-full of Sydney Evan bracelets. Known for bohemian chic fashion-meets-fine jewelry, that layer perfectly creating the most fashionable statement for any style—pieces include stackable bracelets, diamond charms and bangles. Decker was the first to copy the cover’s look, reaching out to the designer Rosanne Karmes and requesting pieces for her personal collection, including The Sydney Evan Double-Sided Diamond Evil Eye Bracelet. Although, by the way she’s smiling, we have a good feeling there are no curses lurking around Brooklyn these days.
