Kylie Minogue “Swaps Botox for Pond’s Cold Cream”
The 40-year old Aussie pop star, Kylie Minogue, claims she’s given up Botox in favor of taking her “mum’s” advice to use the classic beauty product, Pond’s Cold Cream. Since 1846, Pond’s has been the classic beauty brand trusted by generations of women for beautiful skin and is a beauty staple —even for celebs.
Although rumor has it that some young Hollywood stars are trying Botox, Kylie reveals there’s a better way to age gracefully. In an exclusive interview with the UK’s News of the World, Kylie reveals that “It’s such an old classic [Pond’s]. My mum uses it. I wanted to see what all the fuss was about and it really does work. It’s made such a difference.”

theBalm Cosmetics Will Be Featured In “MTV Hired”
theBalm Cosmetics and its CEO/Founder, Marissa Shipman, will be featured in an upcoming episode of MTV’s latest docu-series, “MTV Hired”. theBalm is the only cosmetics company featured in the series and will show how young girls can break into the cosmetics industry.
On June 3rd, 2010, at 6:30 pm, the episode follows the cult-favorite beauty brand as they search for a new office assistant. In the callback interviews, the three final applicants are asked to pitch a new product idea to the staff of theBalm. Someone definitely impresses the staff while another leaves them a bit “shocked.”

It summer time and for that reason I’m not that into wearing a liquid foundation during the day. So, I took a trip to MAC Cosmetics store in Scottsdale’s Fashion Square Mall and viola, Marta is the proud owner of MAC Studio Fix. A true classic. I’ve been loving this one for many years now. It is a powder foundation, it covers without leaving your skin greasy, too shiny, or oily. And it’s quick 1-2-3 and you’re done!

Another classic, and in my opinion, the Bentley of all lip gloss and best lip gloss ever invented is MAC Superglass. My favorite shade is Gift Wrap which is light coral, my favorite shade after red. I also love MAC Dazzleglass, it’s very similar to MAC Superglass it’s just a bit lighter in consistency.

This Model Life
Anyone interested in the modeling world and fashion should watch This Model Life documentary series, first aired on channel 4 in the UK back in 2003. The documentary follows several models amongst them Erin O’Connor who at age 24 was already a fashion world icon, as she travels to Paris for the prestigious couture fittings and rehearsals.
