Estée Lauder Models at the 2010 Met Gala
The 2010 Met Gala is the Oscars of fashion and the perfect place for four Estée Lauder models to be as the brand once again redefines American and Global beauty. Veterans Hilary Rhoda and Carolyn Murphy, and new faces Constance Jablonski and Liu Wen all define beauty in their own unique way, and looked breathtaking as they walked the red carpet.

Super stylist Mary Alice Stephenson styled Hilary Rhoda, Constance Jablonski and Liu Wen in a suite at NYC’s Surrey Hotel, where Estée Lauder Global Makeup Stylist Rick DiCecca applied stunning makeup looks on both Constance and Liu Wen.
Hilary Rhoda’s makeup was done by Kaoru Okubo and hair by Rudi Lewis.
Erika Christensen at the International Film Center Premiere of Mercy
Actress Erika Christensen made her mark on the red carpet at the International Film Center premiere of Mercy. mark Celebrity Makeup Artist Jamie Greenberg shared her expert tips on how to recreate Erika’s stunning look.
Face: ”I started off by prepping Erika’s face with a spray of mark Mist Opportunity Multi-Tasking Refresher to wake up her skin. Next, I had her moisturize with mark See Things Clearly Brightening Moisturizer followed with a touch of mark Get A Tint Tinted Moisturizer Lotion SPF 15 Buff/Natural to even out her complexion. To really emphasize her cheeks, I used mark Glowdacious Illuminating Powder in Prettied Up and lightly dusted the mark Good Glowing Custom Pick Powder Blush in Cameo Glo to the apples of her cheeks.”
IMAN at the 2010 MET Ball
Last night, celebrity makeup artist Sam Fine created a beautiful “Modern 30’s Glam” look for supermodel IMAN. Below, Sam shares the product he used to create this iconic look.
SKIN: Every look that walks the red carpet begins with flawless skin. I start by using Iman’s Second to None Luxury Radiance Liquid Makeup Enriched with Minerals (in shade 2) to highlight and conceal the under eye area. Then I uses Iman’s Second to None Stick Foundation in the same shade to achieve a flawless complexion that not only looks great on the red carpet, but lasts though the night!

The stars were out at the annual Met Ball at New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art, to help celebrate and raise funds for the opening of the Museum’s 2010 Costume Institute Exhibit. Between thunderstorms, the weather was humid and hair stylists were challenged to create glamorous looks that were not only beautiful but also frizz-free. Hairstylist Mark Townsend created Rachel Weisz’ hairdo for the ball.
The Hairstyle & Inspiration: “The theme of this year’s Met Ball was “American Woman,” and after seeing Rachel’s Oscar de la Renta dress I knew that we should keep her hair down and sexy.
How To: Hair Tutorial
I started by adding a few drops of Moroccanoil Treatment to her hair, to condition and strengthen it while reducing drying time. This helped ensure a shiny, healthy look. Then I blow-dried her hair with a medium-sized, round brush.

Jeannia prepped Lily’s skin with CHANEL Sublimage Fluid. She wanted to keep the skin dewy and fresh, so as a base she used CHANEL Hydramax + Active Tinted Moisturizer in Sand. On her lids, she blended the deep brown and silver powder shades from the CHANEL Quadra Eye Shadow in Mystic Eyes.

For the make up we felt like a light eye and bright lip would complement the look. With her fair complexion, blue eyes and blonde hair, it is my favorite look on her. We did not want to make it look retro.”

Her lips were totally nude but hydrated with CHANEL Rouge Allure in Mythic and the cheeks were sculpted with CHANEL Moisturizing Bronzing Powder in Terre Ambre – no blush colour.
