KENZO Fall Winter 2010 Makeup by MAC

KENZO Fall Winter 2010 Fashion Show in Paris. Makeup by MAC Cosmetics.

The Makeup Look and Inspiration: “The KENZO woman is an amazing woman, very multicultural with elegance and you’re never sure where she’s from. Add a peach colour that is not too girly or bronzy, like a feel good colour that is reminiscent of the 80’s. To give the look a ‘sick’ quality we have given them dry mustard lips!”-Tom Pecheux

AHAVA Backstage at Yigal Azrouel Fall 2010

My first backstage coverage during New York Fashion Week Fall Winter 2010 began with the Yigal Azrouel fashion show. There I had the pleasure to meet the CEO of AHAVA Michael Etedgi. I have a soft spot for both Yigal Azrouel and AHAVA (which btw means LOVE in Hebrew) because both are from Israel like myself. It was amazing to chat in Hebrew finally with AHAVA’s Michael and to not to get lost in translation.

Have you tried the AHAVA Mineral Hand Cream? It’s amazing and a classic. AHAVA brought a bit of relaxation backstage at Yigal Azrouel Fall 2010 with their Beauty Bar where I received a hand massage, yes, with their fabulous hand cream.

Donna Karan Fall 2010 Makeup with MAC Cosmetics

J. Mendel Fall 2010 Makeup

New York Fashion Week Fall Winter 2010. Show: J. Mendel Fall 2010. Makeup by Bobbi Brown Cosmetics.

“The J. Mendel woman for fall is strong and chic, and has an effortless and modern sex appeal…”-Wendy Rowe for Bobbi Brown Cosmetics

Ultra chic and sophisticated, the makeup for J.Mendel’s Fall 2010 Collection is fresh and youthful. Skin is clean and glowing, but cheekbones are pronounced and structured. Eyes are precisely defined with a thin line on outer corners, mixing drama with innocence. A barely there lip completes the look.

These are the Bobbi Brown Cosmetics makeup used to get the J. Mendel Fall 2010 runway look:

Susan Woo Fall/Winter 2010 Fashion Show

New York Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2010 REPORT: The Susan Woo Fall/Winter 2010 fashion show took place on February 13th, 2010, on the 25th floor of the Bryant Park Hotel. As soon as I arrived I spotted lovely Olivia Palermo star of MTV’s The City. Dressed in black leather pants, black jacket, and yes, black shoes. I introduced myself to her and asked to photograph her. Olivia smiled and agreed and suggested she brings Susan Woo the style genius to the photo. And there we have it!

L to R: Olivia Palermo and fashion designer Susan Woo

The Susan Woo collection could be my entire personal wardrobe. All the garments were extremely elegant, with a bit of rock chic element mixed with 1960s old Hollywood movies style. I loved the Michael Antonio red high heels on some of the models. Definite inspiration for me (and you guys) t0 add one pair of hot red high heels to your closet! It breaks black nicely and adds a bit of intrigue to your look. Hair was done by Bumble & Bumble. Makeup by Tarte Cosmetics. The delicious drink at the show was by Belvedere Vodka.
