Makeup Tips By Victoria Rowe Celebrity Makeup Artist
Victoria Rowe is a Celebrity Makeup Artist who had worked with Lady Gaga, Keri Hilson, Ashley Greene, and now Sarah Carter from the new Spielberg series, “Falling Skies”. I’ve met Victoria one day backstage at LA Fashion Week few years a go and I must say she is one cool and talented lady. I’m now pleased to share with Victoria’s makeup tips especially for summer.
Victoria’s TOP TEN Makeup Items
Everyone NEEDS to have at home or in their purse right now!
1. Oil free facial moisturizer I prefer ALBA Oil-free Green Tea Moisturizer, Avalon Organics Lavender Moisture cream for sensitive skin, or BLISS SPA Oxygen +Vitamin C Cream (gel). Any of these will combat dryness without oil and, dare I say, help get rid of most every kind of ACNE in a woman, girl, or man of any age.
Twilight Star Ashley Greene at Rock & Republic Party
My dear friend & Celebrity Makeup Artist, Victoria Rowe, who also happened to do makeup for Twilight star Ashley Greene told me about the Rock & Republic Robertson Store Opening Party last night in LA.
Ashley Greene looked simply elegant in a little black dress, fresh short hair cut, and clean makeup.
I also love Ashley Greene’s nail polish which is very neutral.

Pop Beauty at LA Fashion Week
I met up with celebrity makeup artist Victoria Rowe backstage at the Maggie Barry fashion show during LA Fashion Week. Victoria gave me a sneak peek to the makeup look for the runway which was achieved by Pop Beauty!
Here is a video of my interview with Victoria Rowe where she explains the makeup look backstage at the Maggie Barry show during LA Fashion Week, using makeup products by Pop Beauty. It was super loud backstage since it was in a club, so the video is also a bit loud. But, you can see the model’s look wearing all Pop Beauty makeup and few tips here and there.
Want a flirty, funky shade to make your eyes pop? Coming right up. How about glittering eyeliner for a night on the town? Consider it done. Pop Beauty’s irresistible range of juicy color fulfills every order-from kiss-worthy lip pouters to eye shadows with a glittery finish to sparkly, all over shimmers that add a delectably enhancing glow to any look. Keep your finger on the beauty pulse and your makeup bag on the cutting edge with Pop Beauty’s deliciously loud, yet totally wearable shades.

QUESTION: Michelle asks Victoria Rowe:
Victoria, I Love your bio and experience by the way? Are you an agent for Elite modeling. I was wondering if you worked with them. I’m not at all the tall runway type. More average/even athletic slim multicultural brown/hazel green. The question I ask…is because I’ve heard your name mentioned with Elite…just wondering….if not it’s here, with makeup, and I like the fact I can “see” how you do it, because it is a true art. Thank you in advance.
ANSWER: Victoria Rowe:
Thanks, Michelle. And no, I am not an agent at all. I’m just a Makeup Artist. I have probably have friends who are models with Elite and have worked on many, many shows over the years that had Elite Models in them but that’s about it. Not sure where that reference was made. Anyway, if you’re asking about Makeup for your skin type or color, we’re going to explore all of that in upcoming articles. Just remember the most important thing to keep your face looking gorgeous and sexy is lots of moisturizer and lots of sunscreen. Focus on Moisturizers that contain high concentrations of Vitamin C (especially for acne and scarring) and use at least an SPF 25+ sunscreen this summer. Keep it Glowy and Fresh!!! Enjoy!!!xo-Victoria:)
Also-Michelle-if you are asking about representation for your “type” of look, I can’t really recommend anything without seeing a picture, but it sounds like you might have a great commercial look (maybe SHAPE magazine if you’re athletic), or possibly Beauty (meaning close-up Face-Oriented Modeling). Not all models are extremely tall, but there are height requirements in most agencies. You may want to consider Commercial Acting if you are outgoing and live in an area you would have access to large markets.
