Redken Creative Consultant Guido created gorgeous blow-outs for the D&G show today in Milan. “For D&G today, we’re creating a bouncy blow-dry to compliment the rich Spring/Summer 2012 Collection. This style looks effortless but does require a few steps to make sure the hair flows on the runway.”–Guido, Redken Creative Consultant

D&G Women’s Show S/S 2011
Milan Fashion Week SS 2011. Designer: D&G WOMEN’S SUMMER 2011, Milan, September 2010. The theme: GARDEN PARTY.
The D&G Summer 2011 Women’s collection is a day in the garden. It starts early in the morning with gardening outfits made of canvas dungarees and trousers and it goes on with a picnic, mixing flowery prints with vichy patterns. It then follows on with a cocktail where light, flower-printed, poplin summer dresses take centre stage and it ends with a party al fresco where it is imperative to show up in long floral chiffon gowns.

New Moon Premiere
Just in case you didn’t get enough of the New Moon Permiere last week, here are some highlights via swide.com
Robert Pattinson at NY’s New Moon screening wearing D&G (image below):
“We saw Twilight and we loved the kind of visceral, profound love that links the protagonists, their passions and their values. This is why we wanted to celebrate the release of New Moon with D&G by organizing a special screening and an after-party at The Box in New York. Robert Pattison, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner, apart from being beautiful, embody an ideal that goes beyond the story that they interpret. They let us understand that there is a need of emotions and of passions. They are for real the mirror of that generation that inspires our creations, that generation to which we are trying to talk with our work”.-Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana
D&G Fragrance Anthology
I’m a huge Dolce&Gabbana perfumes fan. I like to call Dolce&Gabbana The One, and Dolce&Gabbana The One rose as my signature fragrances. I feel ‘safe’ wearing them, do you know the feeling guys? Last week I took a trip to the Sephora store here in Scottsdale Arizona Fashion Square and couldn’t help but ‘whiff’ (that’s what I call it) the new D&G Fragrance Anthology. I fell in love with 3 L’IMPÉRATRICE. And btw I’m also addicted to the Dolce&Gabbana The One Body Lotion, it has golden shimmer in it, and you know how much Marta loves shimmers ans sparkles!! What I like about D&G The one is that it smells very modern, not too overpowering, wears well day or night, and very sexy. It’s not overly sweet or spicy, it’s just right!
The D&G Fragrance Anthology: With its characteristic audacity, D&G unveils a wardrobe of five, mesmerising fragrances that answer the fundamental human questions: “Who am I? Who do I want to be?”. At times, our characters are mysteries even to ourselves. As the label of metropolitan glamour, D&G recognises that – for the world’s most discerning men and women – the sense of self may exist in a beguiling state of flux.
1 LE BATELEUR
Aromatic top notes, yielding to an aquatic heart, on a cedarwood and vetyver base. The torrid heat of Le Bateleur’s beginnings cools into an aquatic heart, before settling into an earthily textured base. Fiery yet bracing, fluid yet grounded, the scent is a symphony of perfectly poised contradictions.
D&G Fragrance Anthology
Introducing the first D&G Fragrance Anthology the ultimate art of self-expression. One collection, five eternal personalities.
“We all have many differnt facets to our personalities: this is the world of D&G.”-Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana.
