Beauty Inspiration: “Tonight was Sandra’s big night and she was in a happy, ethereal mood. I wanted her to look like the true movie star she is, so we went with modern classy Hollywood – dewy skin, soft eyes, and a bold classic red lip.”-Makeup Artist Angela Levin.

How to get Sandra Bullock’s Oscars 2010 makeup look:

Angela prepped Sandra’s skin with CHANEL Sublimage Fluid. She then used a foundation brush to apply CHANEL Vitalumiere Satin Smoothing Fluid Makeup in Shell all over the face. Angela created a structured brow with the soft brown powder in the limited edition Les Regards de CHANEL Palette. She lined Sandra’s eyes with the darker brown shade in the same palette.

Emilie de Ravin in CHANEL Beauté

CHANEL Celebrity Makeup Artist Kara Yoshimoto Bua worked with Emilie de Ravin at the premiere of Remember Me on Monday, March 1st, 2010.

How To Get Emilie de Ravin’s makeup look at the premiere of Remember Me by CHANEL Celebrity Makeup Artist Kara Yoshimoto Bua:

“I was inspired by the beautiful beige soft tonal palette of Emilie’s dress, hair, and shoes. I felt that the palette would be complimented by a smoky pewter on the eyes, which would also pick up on the jewelry. Her eyes were a mix of CHANEL Soft Touch Eye Shadow in Black Star, and the CHANEL Quadra Eyeshadow in Dunes. I then used CHANEL Inimitable Mascara in Noir on the top lashes, and CHANEL Inimitable Mascara in Brun on the bottom lashes. On her cheeks I used CHANEL Blush Duo in Tweed Sienna, a bronzy peach shade. I kept her lips light and neutral with CHANEL Lip Definer in Praline D’Or, and CHANEL Glossimer in Beige Guitare.”

Makeup Tutorial:

“Michelle’s look was inspired by simple elegance. I kept her youthful glow by first moisturizing with CHANEL Sublimage Fluid, with then a wash of CHANEL Teint Innocence Foundation in Beige, blended with my fingers. We focused on lashes using CHANEL Sculpte Cils Mascara on the upper and lower lashes, and warmed up the eyes with CHANEL Quadra Eye Shadow in Kaska Beige.

Beauty Inspiration & The Look: “January’s Golden Globes makeup was all about taking a fresh approach to the classic red lip.”

Beauty Tip: “I used Le Blanc de CHANEL under her base to create luminous ‘glowing from the inside’ porcelain skin, then treated her lips with CHANEL Hydramax + Active Lip Treatment before applying CHANEL Rouge Coco Lip Colour in Paris – a gorgeous garnet red from a new lipstick line launching in March. I painted the finest black line on her upper lid with CHANEL Automatic Liquid Eyeliner in Noir and shaded under her eyes with CHANEL Intense Eye Pencil in Graphite in the outer corners. I finished her look by layering lots of different false eyelashes then added Exceptionnel de CHANEL Noir Obscur Mascara over the top for an intense black lash line.”

Beauty Tip: “To prepare Nicole’s skin, I used CHANEL Sublimage Cream all over her face and neck, and CHANEL Sublimage Eye Cream under the eyes. Her eyes were a combination of CHANEL Soft Touch Eyeshadows – in Jungle, Bois Bleu, and Le Bronze. I gave her a slightly dramatic look with two coats of CHANEL nimitable Mascara in Noir. Jennifer Garner at the 2010 Golden Globes

GET THE LOOK: Jennifer Garner was wearing CHANEL Beauté at the 67th Annual Golden Globe Awards. Jennifer’s makeup look was created by Makeup Artist Kate Lee.

Beauty Inspiration & The Look: “Jen’s dress was a perfect nude colour, and the beads were pink and silvery. The overall look was champagne and beige. With her pale skin and dark hair, it was my job to bring colour and radiance to the silhouette because everything else was quite monochromatic. I saw it as an excuse to break out the perfect lip shade.”

Beauty Tip: “I prepped the skin with CHANEL Hydramax + Active Serum and then CHANEL Sublimage Fluid Moisturizer, which leaves a velvety texture on the skin. On Jen’s eyes I used CHANEL Quadra Eye Shadow in Kaska Beige. I liner her lids with CHANEL Long Lasting Eyeliner in Espresso, smudged it out, and used the dark burgundy shade from the quad along the lash line. I then used my favourite colour in the world, the beigey-taupey-lilac shade in the quad, in the socket line. I feathered it along the lash line as well, to blend the chocolate brown liner. I curled the lashes, an applied one coat of CHANEL Inimitable Waterproof Mascara in Noir. On her cheeks I used Neutrogena a combination of Neutrogena Mineral Sheer Cheek Colours in Apricot, Sable, and Rare Rose. Finally, on the lips I used CHANEL Rouge Coco in Rouge Orage. I chose this shade because it has amazing staying power and incredible hydrating properties. It’s an intense rosey colour with a bronze shimmer – perfect or Jen’s full lips.”

Beauty Tip: “I prepped Kate’s skin with CHANEL Sublimage Fluid before applying her base, L’Oreal True Match Foundation in N-3. In the crease of her eyes I used the grey shade from the CHANEL Quadra Eye Shadow in Blue Celestes. I applied the lightest silvery white shade under the brow bone, as well as under the lash line. The inside of her eyes were lined with Almay black eye pencil, and I finished the eyes with CHANEL Inimitable Mascara in Noir. Finally, on her lips I used CHANEL Aqualumiere Sheer Colour Lipshine in Malta, a sheer subtle peach shade.”

I lined her eye with CHANEL Precision Eye Definer in Khaki Dore, and finished with CHANEL Inimitable Mascara in Noir. On her lips she wore CHANEL Rouge Allure Laque in Dragon.”

Rachel Weisz At The Lovely Bones Premiere

CHANEL Celebrity Makeup Artist Kara Yoshimoto Bua worked with Rachel Weisz for her premiere of  The Lovely Bones on Monday, December 7, 2009.

Thanks to CHANEL Beauté Talking Makeup has the scoop on how to get Rachel’s makeup look!

“I was inspired by the colour of Rachel’s dress which was calling out for a perfectly red lip! I chose the semi-matte CHANEL Rouge Allure Laque in Dragon. I love this shade because it is a very pigmented blue true red, perfect with Rachel’s fair skin, and can be worn very sheer yet give vivid colour. I wanted shimmery soft eyes to be tonal with the colour of the dress so a not to compete with the lips. CHANEL Quadra Eye Shadow in Murano has the most beautiful greenish-grey shimmers that accent Rachel’s dark hair and brown eyes. CHANEL Blush Duo Tweed Effect in Tweed Rose gives her a soft hint of colour in the apples of her cheeks. Finally, CHANEL Inimitable Mascara in Noir-Black opens up her eyes by lengthening and separating her already thick lashes without any clumps!”
