Beauty Inspiration: Last week I watched a Joan Collins interview with British journalist Piers Morgan. The interview was part of a UK TV show (on itv2 ) Life Stories or Piers Morgan’s Life Stories which I’m absolutely addicted to. I love to interview and who is a better inspiration for me than Mr Piers Morgan. He is such a brilliant interviewer. I would love to meet Piers and maybe even interview him. Better yet, I would also love one day to host an interview show just like Piers Morgan’s Life Stories (a girl can dream right?:)

Now on to Joan Collins: When I was 15 yrs old growing up in Israel I read the Joan Collins biography and even back then I became fascinated by this woman. However, watching Joan’s recent interview with Piers just made me fall in love with her even more. Joan is one of the most beautiful, witty, intelligent, charming, and graceful women I’ve ever seen or met. She is one beauty I really look up to! And BTW, Joan Collins is the best looking 76 year old woman I’ve ever seen.

Spring Hair Trends with TRESemmé

TRESemmé created three chic looks for Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Spring 2010 in NYC.

The Show: Whitney Eve. The Hairstyle: Fun and Flirty Textured Pony.

Hair Tutorial: How to get this hairdo: To coincide with the laid-back, fun-loving feel of the Whitney Eve collection, TRESemmé created a girly, textured pony. Using the right products, this playful look is easy to achieve at home:

1. Apply TRESemmé 24 Hour Body Foaming Mousse to damp hair, and blow dry upside down using a round brush.

2. Spray hair with TRESemmé Thermal Creations Curl Activator Spray, and lightly curl with a 1” curling iron for texture.

3. Gently tease the top of the head towards the front of the hairline for volume.  Using fingers, pull hair back into a ponytail towards the crown, and fasten with an elastic.

4. Create texture throughout the ponytail using hands, and finish with TRESemmé TRES Two Ultra Fine Mist Hairspray.

Fashion advertising: Designer Norma Kamali and Interview Magazine bring you the debut of interactive fashion ads on the Apple ipad. Kamali will be participating in the first digital version of Interview Magazine that will be available on the ipad April 5th, 2010.

In addition to her signature swimwear campaign, the designer has created portfolios for you to scroll through your favorite looks that can be emailed or shared with friends. Kamali has also created a mini mood video (above) that expresses the spirit of the collection.
