Lady Gaga Tokyo MAC Viva Glam Performance
Lady Gaga mesmerizes Tokyo with an awe-inspiring Viva Glam performance. M·A·C Cosmetics and the M·A·C Aids Fund hosted the much anticipated Pan-Asia Viva Glam launch in Japan with a press junket at Tokyo’s Grand Hyatt Hotel for over 30 Asian and worldwide media followed by a breathtaking and electric performance by Viva Glam spokesperson Lady Gaga featuring a one-of-a-kind M·A·C Viva Glam inspired piano, specially designed and crafted by Canadian artist, Terence Koh.
An international and eclectic audience of over 900 guests including Naomi Matsushima, Ms. Riisa Naka and Ms. Kyoko Kano together with influencers from the worlds of fashion, music and art arrived at Tabloid, Tokyo’s newest art and fashion event space – all highly charged and visibly anticipating Viva Glam Spokesperson, Lady Gaga’s performance.

Yesterday, March 1st, 2010, MAC Cosmetics launched their two new MAC Viva Glam spokespeople in London! Lady Gaga and Cyndi Lauper conducted numerous interviews with UK and global print/ TV media.

Later in the day, MAC held an exclusive event: “An Audience With Lady Gaga & Cyndi Lauper”. The event was hosted by Sharon Osbourne and was a candid conversation about HIV/AIDS and the Viva Glam movement. 100% of the questions were submitted by our MAC Facebook Fans. The event was streamed on the MAC Cosmetics Facebook page via Ustream. In just a few hours over 35,000 people had viewed the event!
MAC Viva Glam From Our Lips and Q&A With Lady Gaga
MAC Cosmetics and the MAC AIDS Fund introduce their new Viva Glam spokeswomen: Lady Gaga and Cyndi Lauper. As part of the “From Our Lips” campaign, MAC will introduce Viva Glam Gaga and Viva Glam Cyndi lipsticks. Each lipstick will retail for at $14.00 with 100% of the selling cost donated to the MAC AIDS Fund.

You used to sing to Cyndi Lauper as a little girl and now she is a big fan of yours. How does it feel to be working with her on the new M·A·C VIVA GLAM campaign?
She has such a beautiful spirit, and the best thing about her is that she’s a really genuine person. She gave me some pointers at the VIVA GLAM shoot. We have so much in common, and we just really enjoy one another. It’s surreal.

But, it got me writing about it so ‘Jenny from the block’ must be doing something right.

I love Blake Lively’s hair at the New York City premiere of “Sherlock Holmes” last night. In fact, it seems that I always love Blake’s hair. She’s just got it going on. Blake’s dress is once again the opposite of plain, and somewhat outrageous. I love how she is not afraid to go for unexpected and sexy styles. I see a little bit of Lady Gaga influence with the dress. Is this a dress/body suite? All in all, Blake Lively’s style experimentations are SO Marta Walsh:)
