Zac Posen Fall Winter 2011 Collection
(Paris, France – March 3rd, 2011) On March 3rd, 2011 at 11 am, designer Zac Posen returned to Paris, presenting his Fall/ Winter 2011 eponymous collection in the newly christened basement of the Palais de Tokyo.
The collection itself looked toward the lines and contours of nature – reinterpreting distinctive shapes to emphasize the female form. Holding true to this concept of biomimicry, Posen employs a bevy of constructional and conceptual techniques to further incorporate details from nature. Anatomical references highlighted by chiffon insets, and armor-like structural detail, all reference the specific elements of nature that so informed this collection.

Her latest acting role in “Alice in Wonderland”, also staring in this film Johnny Depp. Future plans, and of course, style and beauty secrets!
Marta Walsh: Where did you grow up and where is home for you?
Amy Baliey: I grew up in a coastal town called Corpus Christi, in South Texas. I loved going to the beach right after school. Now I divide my time between London and L.A.
MW: How did you decide on a career in showbiz, and what were some of your first breaks?
