Kate Gosselin’s Hair Makeover in People Magazine

Kate Gosselin revealed a new hairdo on the cover of People Magazine last week! To help achieve Kate Gosselin’s new look, Ted Gibson – celebrity hairstylist to the stars such as Angelina Jolie and Anne Hathaway – turned to Great Lengths 100% Human Hair Extensions. Transforming Kate’s shorter infamous do to long locks was no easy endeavor, taking many hours and hundreds of keratin bonded Great Lengths Extensions. However, once Kate revealed her new longer do, she loved it. Ted reveals, “using Great Lengths Extensions you are able to take hair from being ordinary to extraordinary!” Marta Walsh says: “Unbelievable!”

Great Lengths Extensions is the extension system of Hollywood. In addition to the superior quality of the human hair used by Great Lengths, the other reason it’s favored among the famous is because of how safe and gentle it is on one’s real hair. Unlike other hair extension systems, Great Lengths Extensions integrity of one’s natural strands is never compromised, so the only risk one tales by having them is looking better than before.

Jessica Alba at The 2010 People’s Choice Award: Get The Look

Last night Frederic Fekkai Celebrity Stylist Renato Campora styled Jessica Alba, for the 2010 People’s Choice Awards giving her a young, modern, undone bob.

Here is how to get Jessica Alba’s hairdo at The 2010 People’s Choice Award:

Starting with wet hair, Campora applied FEKKAI COIFF STRONG HOLD VOLUME MOUSSE all over the head to create the foundation for Alba’s style. Next, he formed a middle part, and used a FEKKAI Large Round Brush to blow the hair dry. Using a 1 inch curling iron, he created loose curls letting them fall to cool. To finish the look, Renato applied FEKKAI COIFF Nonchalant Piecing & Forming Wax at the end of the curls, adding texture and creating a tousled look. This is a modern look for all women and can be worn as everyday or as an evening look.

Spring/Summer 2010 Bridal Hair Trends

Tying ‘The Knot’!

Bridal Runway Chignons and Twists Reflect Looser, Relaxed Versions of the Classics: This season, Bridal Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2010 updos reflected looser, imperfect styles to contrast with the superbly elegant gowns sewn to perfection at the Amsale, Christos and Kenneth Pool shows. Since Brides today demand perfection in all aspects of the day, why not ‘relax’ a bit when it comes to their hair? Whether it was loosely-opened chignons, playful accessories, or imperfectly textured French Twists, Tearsheet Artistic Director Giovanni Giuntoli, who instructs stylists through on-set styling classes in New York City, created each look to reflect a no-fuss style that allowed each bride to glide down the aisle with angelic perfection. The best news? Each of the three looks can be easily re-created, of course, with some help from a friend:

Swirled-Open Chignon – seen at Christos (see image above): “At Christos, we wanted to accentuate the young, modern, clean looks with a twist on the classdonut. We took inspiration from the typical ballerina bun, but softened it by adding texture and a bit of lift to the crown and sides. Like she did it herself, with a little help from a friend” explains Giuntoli.ic bun, creating a looser folded.

The 2010 People’s Choice Awards: Carrie Underwood, Jessica Alba, Taylor Swift

These are Marta’s favorite celebrity looks at the 2010 People’s Choice Awards!

1. Carrie Underwood has transformed into a Hollywood super glamour girl ever since her days in American Idol. Talking about “The Hollywood Transformation”. Carrie is looking more and more beautiful everyday. I love everything about Carrie’s look here: hair and makeup and the dress!

Kate Gosselin’s New Hairdo

This is what I call a wow factor: Kate Gosselin’s new long hairdo on the cover of People Magazine. Love, love, love. Kate looks so much younger, hipper, and happier. I hear it took 20 hours to get Kate’s locks long and gorgeous with hair extensions. The talented man behind Kate’s new hair is celebrity hairstylist Ted Gibson. Ted is fabulous. I met him back in July 2009 during a Vanity Fair party in New York City for the launch of  TV series: What Not To Wear and the celebration of his role in it. I even chatted with Mr Gibson and he is the coolest!

What do you think guys, do you love Kate Gosselin’s hair makeover? Do you love Kate’s hairstyle before (left image below) or after (right image below)?

The Hollywood Transformation of Katharine McPhee

Katharine McPhee is definitely looking different these days. I call it “The Hollywood Transformation”. First thing you do is dye your hair blonde! Think Marilyn Monroe, Madonna, Lady Gaga, Gwen Stefani, even Lindsay Lohan. Blonde seems to be the ultimate Old Hollywood glamour symbol. And I love how Katharine McPhee waves her hand to fans, very regal or very Hollywood. Even the hairdo is similar to Marilyn Monroe’s: short wavy bob parted to the side. To finish the look: add red lipstick. I approve Katharine McPhee’s new hair color. The questions is: Do you?

Do you see any similarities between Katharine McPhee and Marilyn Monroe’s hair and makeup?
