Kate Hudson’s Makeup at the 2010 Golden Globes

GET THE LOOK: Kate Hudson was wearing CHANEL Beauté at the 67th Annual Golden Globe Awards. Kate’s makeup look was created by Makeup Artist Leslie Lopez.

Beauty Inspiration & The Look: “Golden Globes makeup is all about the dress. When I saw Kate in her gorgeous white dress, I knew we had to go for a clean, sophisticated, pretty look – very Grace Kelly.”

Beauty Tip: “I prepped Kate’s skin with CHANEL Sublimage Fluid before applying her base, L’Oreal True Match Foundation in N-3. In the crease of her eyes I used the grey shade from the CHANEL Quadra Eye Shadow in Blue Celestes. I applied the lightest silvery white shade under the brow bone, as well as under the lash line. The inside of her eyes were lined with Almay black eye pencil, and I finished the eyes with CHANEL Inimitable Mascara in Noir. Finally, on her lips I used CHANEL Aqualumiere Sheer Colour Lipshine in Malta, a sheer subtle peach shade.”

Beauty Inspiration & The Look: “I wanted to blend my old Hollywood inspiration from the dress with the sunny California girl that is Cameron. So I paired the classic CHANEL red mouth with the golden sunny California eye.”

Beauty Tip: “I used the gold shadow from the CHANEL Quadra Eye Shadow in Mystic Eyes in the outer corner of Cameron’s lids and crease, and then I used the darker peach and gold mixed together from CHANEL Quadra Eye Shadow Quad in Demure on her lids. I lined her eye with CHANEL Precision Eye Definer in Khaki Dore, and finished with CHANEL Inimitable Mascara in Noir. On her lips she wore CHANEL Rouge Allure Laque in Dragon.”

How to Get Olivia’s Glowing look:

Face
“I started by moisturizing Olivia’s face with mark See Things Clearly Brightening Moisturizer to get an even base. I then applied mark Get a Tint Tinted Moisturizer Lotion in Ivory/Nude to add some subtle color without using a heavy foundation. Next, I used mark Get Bright Hook Up Highlighter under her eyes to hide any dark circles and mark Cheat Sheet Shine-Blotters to eliminate shine. I finished off her face by highlighting her gorgeous cheek bones with mark Glow Xpert Face Shimmer in Champagne Glow and just a hint of color by blending mark Just Pinched Instant Blush Tint in Peachy and Spice onto the apples of her cheeks.”

DiorShow Extase Mascara

I got my hands on the NEW DiorShow Extase Mascara by Dior the Bentley of mascaras and my lashes are loving it! I’m a sucker to a mascara that gives my lashes that instant volume and definition boost. You feel it working right away. My lashes are hitting my brow line at the moment. Fact. 🙂

The first mascara to plump lashes inside and out—wear it alone or pair it with your favorite Dior mascaras. DiorShow Extase ($28) provides built-in treatment benefits and high-impact lashes in a single stroke! The spherical-shaped Black Pearl Pigments create a 3D volume effect and the exclusive Metamorphosis Powders expand in size by up to 50% after application. Also, SR38 Patented Ceramid brings additional care, reconstructing damaged lashes and promoting stronger and fuller lashes.

Cover Girl

Did you know that the first time I’ve ever tried any makeup from Cover Girl was during New York Fashion Week Spring 2010? I can already feel many of you are surprised. Well, growing up in Israel back in those days we didn’t have many options for makeup . It was a beauty brand I was not at all familiar with. Luckily, I can’t think of a better introduction to Cover Girl, now one of my favorite makeup lines, by Jake Bailey Cover Girl’s celebrity makeup artist. I met Jake at the CVS Reinventing Beauty Lounge back in September 2009, he did my makeup using all Cover Girl products and needless to say Marta was in love!
