Jennifer Garner at the 2010 Golden Globes

GET THE LOOK: Frederic Fekkai Celebrity Stylist Adir Abergel Created a sophisticated style for presenter, Jennifer Garner. The Look: Adir sought to capture her essence and amazing spirit, he wanted to play up her beautiful dress by elongating Jennifer’s features. He did that by building height on the top of the head and creating cascading curls to fall down her back.

Here’s Adir’s hair tutorial on how to get Jennifer Garner’s hairdo:

He first started by applying the FEKKAI COIFF BOUFFANT LIFTING & TEXTURIZING SPRAY GEL all over the roots to create body and movement. He created extra volume using the FEKKAI COIFF STRONG HOLD VOLUME MOUSSE from the roots to the ends for memory and hold. He took a round brush and blow-dried the hair and while it was hot, placed it into stand up pin curls and let cool while she got her makeup done.

Reese Witherspoon And Ashley Olsen at the 2010 Golden Globes

Reese Witherspoon looks at the 2010 Golden Globes was one of my favorite. I loved Reese’s dress, it was chic and sleek and great color. Reese’s hair color was smashing! Did you notice that both Reese and Ashley looked blonder than ever? To achieve this ultimate Blonde Bobshell hair color Celebrity Colorist Lorri Goddard-Clark took Reese Witherspoon and Ashley Olsen’s color to beyond blonde with bold platinum highlights for sexy, awards show sparkle.

Penelope Cruz at the 2010 Golden Globes

GET THE LOOK: Penelope Cruz style and look at the 67th Golden Globe Awards was one of my favorite. I loved her super chic black Armani dress which had a mixture of stripes and lace. And I loved her hairdo and makeup.

Inspiration & The Look: Inspired by Penelope’s vintage Armani dress and her fresh from vacation tan, iconic hairstylist Oribe channeled classic Hollywood glamour for Penelope’s red carpet style. He created cascading, pinned back waves for a relaxed, elegant look.

Manicurist Deborah Lippmann polished off some of Hollywood’s hottest looks at the Golden Globes on Sunday. Penelope Cruz wore Night And Day to compliment her bronzed glowing skin.

Oribe used his Imperméable to shield Penelope’s hair from the day’s rain and humidity.

How To Get Penelope Cruz Hairdo at the 2010 Golden Globes:

1. Start by working Gel Serum through the hair and then use hot rollers or a curling iron to set the hair. Spray Imperméable or an anti-humidity spray on the hair before using the curling iron to help protect the style and prevent frizz.

2. Brush loose curls into place

Marion Cottilard at the 2010 Golden Globes

GET THE LOOK: Love Marion Cottilard hairdo at the 2010 Golden Globe Awards? Marion Cotillard’s dramatic Golden Globe hair look, created by master stylist Robert Vetica, complemented her elegant Dior gown with a subtle touch of rock and roll.

Manicurist Deborah Lippmann polished off some of Hollywood’s hottest looks at the Golden Globes on Sunday. Past Golden Globe winner Marion Cotillard wore Don’t Tell Mama. The young and modern shade was the perfect accent to her green Dior gown.

“I wanted a look that was glamorous, but with an edge,” said Vetica, “and was inspired by the rock and roll pompadours of the 50s, further strengthened with a sleek, modern French twist. Since shiny, healthy-looking hair was essential to the look, I first applied argan oil-infused Moroccanoil Treatment to wet hair, and blow dried it straight using a diffuser to keep a bit of natural texture. Then I pincurled the entire head front to back, so that hair would easily flow back and up into the pompadour shape. After releasing the pin curls, I ran Moroccanoil Hydrating Styling Cream through the hair with my hands. After brushing back and up, I back combed the top, and pulled the sides back tight, leaving some volume on top. Next, I twisted the hair into a tight french twist which was then asymetrically attached with eye-catching diamond hair clips created by Chopard. I fishined the look with a light misting of Moroccanoil Glimmer Shine Spray to give Marion’s hair a beautiful, naturally luminous shine.”

“I went for an old school Hollywood style with a modern twist,” said Harry. “The shape and silouette is classic, but I roughed it up a little and loosened the waves to make the look less up tight.”

Jersey Shore Beauty Fails

In case you’ve been busy writhing on the floor post-punch at Headliners, Jersey Shore is the number one pop culture phenomenon of the decade. True, the decade is only two weeks old but Jersey Shore is even catching on in Hollywood. Stars are partaking in their own guido/guidette worthy makeovers. Recently Jersified: Alyssa Milano and Michael Cera. MTV.com writer Lisa Chudnofsky got her own pouf courtesy of Snooki herself.

This fist-pumping and nickname generating MTV opus has peppered more conversations of mine lately than has the healthcare debate. Want to arm yourself with the all the info you need for the watercooler convos on Fridays? Pour yourself a tall glass of Ron-Ron Juice and let’s break down the beauty fails of Jersey Shore.

The girls of Jersey Shore, left to right: Snooki, JWoWW, Sammi

1. The Acrylic French Mani I just can’t “vibe” the acrylic faux nail situations. And the French manicure adds insult to injury. I’d like to see Snooki follow Sammi’s lead and stick to natural nails with a pretty pink polish.

2. Loads of Liner Yes, it’s the summer and yes, you’re wearing your Ed Hardy best. But Snooki, you’re on the beach, doll. Summer makeup is all about taking it down a notch.

3. Obviously Penciled-On Brows Overplucking can lead to permanent sparse brows. JWoww would do well to better match her eye pencil to her brow shade and use tiny hairlike strokes to simulate real brows.

4. Scraggly Ends Sartorially, Sammi needs some advice, but she’s doing okay in the beauty department–with the exception of her flat-ironed to death ends, which are dying for a trim. Just an inch or two would increase volume and movement, giving the impression of healthier hair.

Predicts Gibson, “You will see effortless chic with a modern twist this year.” Gibson says that because people are feeling a lot better about the economy, the mood will be more optimistic as well as a little extravagant. 2010 hair will be all about length and a return to romance, according Gibson. “We’re finished with the asymmetrical 80s, harshness. Hair is going to be a lot softer. Women felt like they needed to be stronger in 2009 and even in fashion, we’re going to see a lot more softness in the clothes and hair in 2010.”
