How To Get Kirsten Dunst’s Hairstyle at the 2009 CFDA Fashion Awards
The other day Pantene Nature Fusion Smoothing Creme from Pantene’s Smooth Vitality hair care line saved my hair. I was swimming a lot lately and spent some time in the sun with my guests from England. All which took a toll on my hair. I needed to add back moisture and silkiness to my hair. Right after I washed my hair and towel dried it. I applied a small amount of Pantene’s smoothing creme on the the ends and very lightly on the top part of my hair. Remember: Do not apply on roots. Conditioners tend to weigh down hair if applied roots. I then blow dried my hair like usual. I could finally brush my hair with my fingers for the first time, in weeks:)
I attended the Pantene special meeting with Hallie Bowman, Pantene’s Expert Celebrity Stylist, last week watching her transform everyday women into red carpet divas in minutes just using Pantene products. Think about it, Hallie styled many celebrities, such as: Liv Tyler, Kristen Dunst, Isla Fisher, and Keri Russell. So if Pantene is good enough for these celebs then probably it’s good enough for you.
Hallie’s philosophy on hair: You don’t have to spend million bucks to look like million bucks. Invest in high quality styling tools and save your money on styling and hair care products.

Lisa Price Founder of Carol’s Daughter Interviews With Marta Walsh
I’ve been trying to interview Lisa Price the fabulous founder of Carol’s Daughter for quite some time now. And, finally, here it is!
I’m so excited to share with you Lisa’s story of an incredible journey creating a sought after skincare and fragrance line: Carol’s Daughter.
In this interview Lisa Price talks to me about her fascination with fragrance. The Carol’s Daughter Philosophy. Why did she choose Jada Pinkett Smith and Mary J. Blige as the faces for her brand, and what’s new with Carol’s Daughter.
Marta Walsh: When did your fascination with skincare begin?
Lisa Price: It wasn’t so much a love for skincare as it was a love for fragrance which began when I was a little girl. I started creating my own scents and creams because I loved to experiment—it’s always been a hobby and passion of mine.
MW: At what point did your love for making your own skincare products in the kitchen turn into a promising business?
LP: After some time of working as a writing assistant for The Cosby Show, and creating personalized scents and products for the cast, my mom encouraged me to make a small batch to sell at a local church flea market. I nearly sold out on the first day!
MW: What is Carol’s Daughter philosophy?
LP: Every Carol’s Daughter product I create is made with love, and inspired by my own life. Each product is truly unique and created especially for my customers, who are part of the Carol’s Daughter family. The idea is not just about looking good, but feeling good inside and out, comforting your body and spirit. Carol’s Daughter is also about having a strong sense of family as well as love and respect for yourself and others.

How to Get Amy Adams Hairstyle From the “Julie & Julia” Premieres
Matrix celebrity stylist Mark Townsend created Amy Adams’ beautiful red carpet hairstyles for both the Los Angeles screening and New York premiere of “Julie & Julia.”
For the New York premiere of “Julie & Julia,” Matrix celebrity hairdresser, Mark Townsend, wanted Amy’s hair to be modern and glamorous to match her Carolina Herrera gown. “I’ve been very inspired lately by hairstyles from the 80s with lots of volume,” said Townsend.
Mark started by spraying Biolage volumatherapie Bodifying Spray Gel into Amy’s damp hair…
…and blow dried it with a medium size Spornette Mixed Bristle round brush to get a good deal of volume in her hair. Next, he set her hair with hot rollers, making sure to wrap the hair around the roller from roots to ends to give it a nice wave. Once the hair was cool, he removed the rollers and brushed out her hair with a flat brush, parting it to the side. To add some texture and shine, he sprayed Biolage Shine Endure Spritz into her hair and gave it a scrunch.
