Penelope Cruz at the 2010 Golden Globes
GET THE LOOK: Penelope Cruz style and look at the 67th Golden Globe Awards was one of my favorite. I loved her super chic black Armani dress which had a mixture of stripes and lace. And I loved her hairdo and makeup.
Inspiration & The Look: Inspired by Penelope’s vintage Armani dress and her fresh from vacation tan, iconic hairstylist Oribe channeled classic Hollywood glamour for Penelope’s red carpet style. He created cascading, pinned back waves for a relaxed, elegant look.
Manicurist Deborah Lippmann polished off some of Hollywood’s hottest looks at the Golden Globes on Sunday. Penelope Cruz wore Night And Day to compliment her bronzed glowing skin.
Oribe used his Imperméable to shield Penelope’s hair from the day’s rain and humidity.
How To Get Penelope Cruz Hairdo at the 2010 Golden Globes:
1. Start by working Gel Serum through the hair and then use hot rollers or a curling iron to set the hair. Spray Imperméable or an anti-humidity spray on the hair before using the curling iron to help protect the style and prevent frizz.
2. Brush loose curls into place

Inspiration & The Look: “Effortless and chic: sheer satin eyes, pink milk-maid cheeks and a siren mouth. Christina’s dress has a sexy, yet soft look. We mirrored this with her make up. I love the contrast of the angelic, innocent face with the sexy edge of a strong mouth.”
Here is how to get Christina Hendricks’ red carpet makeup look at the 2010 Golden Globes:
PREPARE: I used shu uemura’s new Depsea Hydrability Moisture Cream. This cream seriously hydrates, yet disappears into the skin leaving the skin feeling fresh and smooth.
UNDEREYE: Lancôme’s Effacernes in Porcelain.
FOUNDATION: Applied minimal foundation, because Christina has nearly flawless skin. I used shu uemura’s Nobara Cream Cover Stick foundation.
Danica Jardien Chooses Wrinkle System for Dark Circles
Danica Jardien is a Denver-based makeup artist with a resume most beauticians feign. Not only has she worked with President Barack Obama, but she’s also had the luxury of working with Tyra Banks. Danica is looked up to by many people for her thoughts on beauty and her continued studies on numerous products in the industry. She is a hard-working professional who is in touch with her fans on many of the top social networking sites such as Twitter, YouTube, and Facebook.
In a recent update to her popular YouTube Channel, Danica goes over the art of covering up dark circles. She starts off showing the viewers how she starts off with a concealer, and then discusses how she has finally found an eye serum that works wonders at reducing puffiness and dark circles.
This eye serum is called the “Dark Circle Serum,” and it’s made by Wrinkle System. The Dark Circle Serum is part of the popular “Two Minute Wrinkle Drill,” and if you follow the above link you can see Danica perform the entire routine, which starts off with a cleanser and also includes an anti-wrinkle solution.
Dark circles are caused by many factors, and they can be perceived by people in many ways – none are positive! Dark circles give off the notion that one leads an unhealthy lifestyle, does not sleep properly, or abuses drugs or alcohol. One cannot simply afford to have dark circles or puffy eyes, and for this reason, it’s important to watch Danica’s video.

Beauty Inspiration & The Look: “January’s Golden Globes makeup was all about taking a fresh approach to the classic red lip.”
Beauty Tip: “I used Le Blanc de CHANEL under her base to create luminous ‘glowing from the inside’ porcelain skin, then treated her lips with CHANEL Hydramax + Active Lip Treatment before applying CHANEL Rouge Coco Lip Colour in Paris – a gorgeous garnet red from a new lipstick line launching in March. I painted the finest black line on her upper lid with CHANEL Automatic Liquid Eyeliner in Noir and shaded under her eyes with CHANEL Intense Eye Pencil in Graphite in the outer corners. I finished her look by layering lots of different false eyelashes then added Exceptionnel de CHANEL Noir Obscur Mascara over the top for an intense black lash line.”
Marion Cottilard at the 2010 Golden Globes
GET THE LOOK: Love Marion Cottilard hairdo at the 2010 Golden Globe Awards? Marion Cotillard’s dramatic Golden Globe hair look, created by master stylist Robert Vetica, complemented her elegant Dior gown with a subtle touch of rock and roll.
Manicurist Deborah Lippmann polished off some of Hollywood’s hottest looks at the Golden Globes on Sunday. Past Golden Globe winner Marion Cotillard wore Don’t Tell Mama. The young and modern shade was the perfect accent to her green Dior gown.
“I wanted a look that was glamorous, but with an edge,” said Vetica, “and was inspired by the rock and roll pompadours of the 50s, further strengthened with a sleek, modern French twist. Since shiny, healthy-looking hair was essential to the look, I first applied argan oil-infused Moroccanoil Treatment to wet hair, and blow dried it straight using a diffuser to keep a bit of natural texture. Then I pincurled the entire head front to back, so that hair would easily flow back and up into the pompadour shape. After releasing the pin curls, I ran Moroccanoil Hydrating Styling Cream through the hair with my hands. After brushing back and up, I back combed the top, and pulled the sides back tight, leaving some volume on top. Next, I twisted the hair into a tight french twist which was then asymetrically attached with eye-catching diamond hair clips created by Chopard. I fishined the look with a light misting of Moroccanoil Glimmer Shine Spray to give Marion’s hair a beautiful, naturally luminous shine.”

Beauty Tip: “To prepare Nicole’s skin, I used CHANEL Sublimage Cream all over her face and neck, and CHANEL Sublimage Eye Cream under the eyes. Her eyes were a combination of CHANEL Soft Touch Eyeshadows – in Jungle, Bois Bleu, and Le Bronze. I gave her a slightly dramatic look with two coats of CHANEL nimitable Mascara in Noir. On Nicole’s cheeks I used the perfect coraly ink blush, CHANEL Powder Blush in In Love. On her lips she wore CHANEL Rouge Allure Laque in Santal.”
Jennifer Garner at the 2010 Golden Globes
GET THE LOOK: Jennifer Garner was wearing CHANEL Beauté at the 67th Annual Golden Globe Awards. Jennifer’s makeup look was created by Makeup Artist Kate Lee.
Beauty Inspiration & The Look: “Jen’s dress was a perfect nude colour, and the beads were pink and silvery. The overall look was champagne and beige. With her pale skin and dark hair, it was my job to bring colour and radiance to the silhouette because everything else was quite monochromatic. I saw it as an excuse to break out the perfect lip shade.”
Beauty Tip: “I prepped the skin with CHANEL Hydramax + Active Serum and then CHANEL Sublimage Fluid Moisturizer, which leaves a velvety texture on the skin. On Jen’s eyes I used CHANEL Quadra Eye Shadow in Kaska Beige. I liner her lids with CHANEL Long Lasting Eyeliner in Espresso, smudged it out, and used the dark burgundy shade from the quad along the lash line. I then used my favourite colour in the world, the beigey-taupey-lilac shade in the quad, in the socket line. I feathered it along the lash line as well, to blend the chocolate brown liner. I curled the lashes, an applied one coat of CHANEL Inimitable Waterproof Mascara in Noir. On her cheeks I used Neutrogena a combination of Neutrogena Mineral Sheer Cheek Colours in Apricot, Sable, and Rare Rose. Finally, on the lips I used CHANEL Rouge Coco in Rouge Orage. I chose this shade because it has amazing staying power and incredible hydrating properties. It’s an intense rosey colour with a bronze shimmer – perfect or Jen’s full lips.”
